Movie about...

Today I saw a movie about Natalie Halloway
A shocking true story about the disappeareance of a 18 year old girl without a trace.
It really got me thinking, this is a movie every teenager must see. The clever, down to earth, soft teenage girl under the influence of alcohol and drugs could behave in a way that is absolutely not like her and how normal boys under the influence could make mistakes that would ruin their lives for ever and cause so much pain and suffering to so many people.
Girls should know that having too much fun can lead to so many problems. I am a resident of Bangalore and almost everyday I read about deaths and murders in the city. I go out and I see regular girls fallen to the fashions of the big city, change the way they dress and they behave. With parents back home, some small town or village these girls finally experiance freedom and do not think of its consequences.
Once women were considered sacred, now when a boy meets a girl for marriage proposal he asks if she is a 'virgin', and more shocking to say that some are not...
To many freedom means to do whatever they want. 'Its my life what's it to you if I ruin it. you are not my father?'

Abishek

I was just watching 'Koffee with Karan' season 3 first episode with Aish and Abishek and I realised that if you take Abishek without his family name of Bachan, if we put aside the serious Abishek in 'Guru' and look at Abishek just that tall man you see that he has a unique personality of his own. He is such a fun loving guy and I am glad to see him like that. Why in the world are directors offering him serious roles, just because his father is famous as an angry young man. I think his body language is good for comedies. He is a natural at that why not offer him such roles, hollywood has tons of comedies where the leading man did all the comedy scenes and I think those are the roles which would make a mark. Just take an example of the angry young man Amitabhji himself, his most famous scenes that people still act out are his comedy act of a drunk 'satte pe satta' and his broken english scene from 'Namak Halal'. I would only imagine Abishek in one such scene and it makes me smile. Even the recent angry man Ajay Devagan had great success from 'GolMaal' that he is launching a third movie of it. Sanjay Datt who was famous for action movies is now only referred to as Muunna bhai. I think if Abishek switches to comedies it will do him wonders ... Just saying...

Kit Kat Ad

The Kit kat Ad caught my attention. We really need to take a break in life to admire its beauty and awesomeness. ( have been watching 'How I met you mother' recently). Life may show you something weird and wonderful. So take a break and watch this Kit Kat ad

I know directing an ad is not an easy task.
So much to convey, so little time
but some people do it the best.
The new ad I like is of Anchor tooth past

This is the full Ad

Love the switch from remix to the classic and back again according to the situation.
How do they get these ideas.

When an ad starts I tend to change the channel but I can watch this ad any number of times. Its FUN
It just proves concept is important not which star is endorsing the product.
Enjoy

The things you don't see

When you watch your fav program you are often interrepted with lot of ads. There are so many ads about so many products, promising you so many effective solutions for so many things. but have you observed the information they provide at the bottom of the screen in tiny font. Thats the thing we have to observe to know the real truth of the product. Cosmetic advertisements which make the ladies (now-a-days even the gents) go and waste money on these items not-so-clearly state that whatever you are watching is a "Creative Visualization." Which means they didn't get that good because of ous cosmetics, we made them vizually good looking by our vfx (airbrushes).

Also insurences and mutual funds have in tiny font that "Conditions Apply please read the offer document carefully before investing." They depend on the lazyness of the investers for their profits. So try to read the tiny font and don't be lazy. You never know what you may discover. I want to tell you one of my experiences here I was travelling by train one day and there was this group of people who had reserved tickets for more seats than they are. They insisted that since they paid for the seats they could use the unoccupied seats for sleeping in a already crowded compartment. I have read on the back of the ticket once that tickets are given as one seat per passenger and if the passengers who reserved the seat did not come then anyone can claim the seat by paying the TC the balance amount. I asked for the TC and got my seat while others did not demand the seat when they thought it was reserved.

Ugly Betty is back.....

Somehow I like the show.

It has all this glitz and glamour

All the fashions and cool actors

and then they have Betty and her world

They have this two different worlds in the same episode

and still it does not look dramatic,

Its fun and entertaining.

Its not like feel sad for the poor and hate the rich sort of thing we usually see

It shows how people suffer in different environments and behave in different situations.

No one is truly right and wrong, its the situation they are in that makes them such.

Mostly I love the confidence in Betty who stands up to people who are, well to be frank quite taller than her in those heels.

All in all Ugly Betty is one funny serial and I recommend you watch it.

A new season is starting on aug 11, on star world, in India
